Join Nanocomp as a Project Quality Engineer (PQE) in Lehmo, Finland, supporting quality assurance in advanced photonic manufacturing projects. In this full-time role, you will work at the customer interface and across internal teams to ensure quality performance throughout the project lifecycle. Apply by May 17, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will participate in quality assurance activities across customer and internal projects.Customer QA (Quality Assurance) communication is managed throughout project execution, ensuring alignment between stakeholders.
  • The role includes creating, implementing, and communicating Project QA plans and documentation to all stakeholders, as well as supporting on-site manufacturing activities for allocated projects, for example in cosmetic quality control.
  • Responsibilities also include controlling non-conformities and customer claims, performing failure analysis, and collecting, analyzing, and reporting quality performance data.
  • Additionally, you will participate in creating product specifications.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an industrial quality assurance role
  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree in Optical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in quality engineering and mass production manufacturing
  • Experience working in a customer interface and project environment
  • Ability to understand technical documentation, specifications, and drawings
  • Good English language skills (both spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Continuous improvement mindset
