Join Nanocomp as an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) in Lehmo, Finland, managing technical projects for advanced photonic solutions. Responsibilities
- In this role, you will manage the technical aspects of projects and support both internal and external project management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Customer communication is handled together with the Sales and Project teams, alongside close collaboration with other project managers and cross-functional teams on engineering topics.
- The role includes contributing to the development and refinement of engineering processes related to microstructure fabrication (mastering, tooling, UV imprinting).
- Additionally, responsibilities include drafting engineering development proposals and handling scope changes for ongoing projects.
Requirements
- M.Sc. (Tech) degree in a relevant field
- Experience in optics, lithography, nano-/microstructure fabrication, or cleanroom processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work proactively and systematically in a cross-functional environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- A customer- and goal-oriented mindset with the drive to take initiative and move projects forward
