Nanocomp is a global leader in advanced photonic solutions, specializing in the design and manufacturing of micro- and nanostructured optical components. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Plant controller to join our innovative team.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Support daily production activities by providing cost insights, performance tracking, and data-driven analysis
  • Produce and maintain cost calculations to guide production and sales decision-making
  • Develop and enhance internal cost accounting and production reporting practices
  • Work closely with the COO/production and finance and contribute to continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor
  • Identify and analyze variances, material flows, and production efficiency using SAP and other tools
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and production-related investment follow-up

What We’re Looking For

  • A relevant degree in industrial engineering, production economics or business
  • Some experience working with SAP ERP (FI/CO and/or PP modules)
  • Above all, a positive and proactive attitude toward SAP – a willingness to learn, use, and develop processes in the system
  • Familiarity with production environments and a hands-on mindset
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to turn data into practical improvements
  • Fluent in Finnish and English (spoken and written)
