Nanocomp Oy Ltd, a Finnish high-tech company focusing on microand nanophotonics, is now introducing a unique foil solution for solid state lighting. This new invention simultaneously hides bright spots caused by LED and collimates light - without accurate assembly. LED positioning in relation to the foil position lengthwise, does not play any signifi cance. NAffuser also hides LED spots when not illuminated and it comes in various materials as well in colours too!

Nanocomp’s generic lens foil solution is thin, fl exible, easily integrated, and it appears visually attractive. The foil can be integrated as such or it can be laminated on any surface, including glass. Traditionally, light control has required conventional, injection-molded lenses which measure too thick for LED arrays and demand accurate assembly.

Delivery formats and materials

Delivery formats are roll, sheet or integrated parts. Roll width can be from 5mm upwards. Sheet format is available through cutting processes and integrated parts according to the agreement. Material options are PMMA, PET and PC (all standard thickness sizes from 0.100 mm to 0.500 mm) on a customer specified colour.
