Open Position - Polymer Chemist
Location: Lehmo, Joensuu, Finland
Nanocomp is currently seeking a qualified and experienced polymer chemist to modify and formulate polymer lacquers for R2R coating process and replication of nano- and micro-optical components. M.Sc, D.Sc./Ph.D highly desired, coupled with few years formulating experience in acrylic, silicone, urethane and/or other polymer chemistry in the field of polymer coatings and replication. Industrial polymer applications experience is a plus but not required. This is a hands-on position, so independent experimental approach is necessary.
Position will drive the successful commercialization of new replication lacquer as part of the overall product development team and supporting working in other multidisciplinary (mass-manufacturing, business, marketing) teams to innovate and develop new commercial opportunities.
