The switch to LED lighting is rapidly picking up speed, and with it the need for focusing lenses for a wide range of lighting applications. Modern technologies (roll-to-roll embossing onto thin foils) can be applied for the production of lenses for top-emitting LED light collimation when compact size and advanced visual outlook are high priority. Other beam shaping components, such as diverging lenses for uniform LED output, are made with the same technology. Use of Nanocomp own design capabilities in manufacturing, speeds up product verification and iterations.

The same foil technology can be applied for the production of signal light indicators. The combination of energy-saving LEDs and Nanocomp structured plastic foils offers cost efficient and high performance solutions for a new industry.
